OHM Meter Type Series and Shunt

Ohm meter is an electronic instrument that serves to determine the resistance value of a load electronics or electronic components. Ohm meter is generally used to measure the resistance value of a resistor. In this focus article discusses the basic concepts of a Meter OHM Ohm Meter type of series and shunt types.

OHM Meter Series Type
 Series-type ohmmeter actually contains a d'Arsonval movement is connected in series with the battery to a pair of prisoners and terminals for connection to an unknown prisoner. Mean flow through the measuring instrument relies on a known prisoners, and an indication of the measuring instrument is proportional to the value of the unknown, with the proviso that the problem of calibration are taken into account.

R1 = detainees barrier
R2 = detainees zero regulator
E = the battery in the measuring instrument
Rm = detainees in d 'Arsonval
Rx = custody unknown

OHM Meter Shunt Type
Circuit diagram of a shunt-type ohmmeter is shown in below. This device consists of senuah prisoners regulator R1 and motion d'Arsonval. Prisoners to be measured are connected to terminals A and B. In this circuit required a switch to turn off (off-on switch) had decided relation to the battery to the circuit when the instrument is not in use.

E = Voltage Battery
R1 = detainees current limiters
Rm = prisoners-in of movement
